Michael in married to Michelle Levesque and they have three children Andrew, Megan and Riley. Michael Graduated from the PTA High School in Grand Falls in 1983, he graduated from Agricultural College in Grand Falls in 1985. Michael was born and raised on the farm and decided early in life that he would farm. He Graduated from the Advanced Agriculture Leadership Program in 1993.
 

The Givskud farm is an active supporter of local activities such as the fire brigaides, the parish and many other organizations. They don't only sponsor these social activities but also try to be active participants. Givskud Farms is involved in both English and French Farmers Associations.
 
 
Mogen Givskud is a great innovator in the farming industry. Many of you probably know that farming work isn't a 9 to 5 job but more close to 12 to 15 hours a day. Mogens doesn't seem to mind because he knows that the hours he puts in his work reflects on the end result.
 
Since farming is a high-risk investment, self confidence is very important. Mr. Givskud is certainly blessed with this to have accomplished what he did throughout the years. The main goal to achieve is meeting the demand by keeping production at a reasonable level and by providing superior products, all this while constantly striving to progress.
 
The future will be even better for Mogen Givskud and his family due to his hard work and dedication. His son will have big shoes to fill when he takes charge of the farm. For the moment, he works closely with his father, gaining experience and putting his studies in agricultural work.
