Ferme Givskud Farm is very conscious of the many challenges affecting the environment and are working hard to improve the environmental situation on their farms.

The government imposes many norms and regulations to limit and eliminate disease. Givskud employees follow courses on ways to apply pesticides properly. Understanding the spraying procedure is crucial to growing good products.

Only qualified, licensed workers are allowed to handle the spray material and equipment. Safety seminars and briefing workshops are given to the workers before planting and harvesting on the use, handling and safety of all equipment. Employee records and personal hygiene also play an important role.

An important factor that is becoming more noticeable in the farming industry is recycling. To promote this Givskud Farms uses recyclable potato bags.
